Who's Your Caddy?

TASI ® Bank recently hosted its third annual TASI Invitational golf tournament at San Francisco’s picturesque and challenging Presidio Golf Course with 72 participants enjoying spectacular views among the hills and trees overlooking the city and the bay.

Sharing golf shots, lunch, and beverages, the golfers were treated to beautiful weather and the easy camaraderie of the relaxing event which has grown steadily in popularity with TASI Bank’s customers.

“The word has spread,” said Alan Gaul, vice president of marketing. “The first year we had 24 players; the second year it was 48, and we’re headed toward being able to take over the entire course for the day. Our clients tell us that they love the atmosphere and the chance to catch up with us and friends, old and newly made.”

The day began with a light breakfast, followed by box lunches, hospitality tents on several holes, and then a banquet and awards ceremony, hosted by TASI Bank president Dave Joves and Joaquin Cook, president of parent company Bank of Guam ®, who flew in with several other executives from Guam for the event.

“This is definitely developing into a ‘must attend’ get-together,” said Joves, “for our customers. We already have requests from customers who were unable to play this year for an invitation to next year’s tournament.”

Cook expressed deep appreciation for the $10,710.00 that was donated by participants to Bank of Guam employees who were affected by the recent typhoon that devastated the island.

“On behalf of our employees, I want to express our gratitude for the support,” he said.
